Greg is a professional 3d visualizer, model maker and photographer. He is passionate about architectural presentation material that has maximum visual impact through content and materials that are clean, efficient and imaginatively composed.

models

Models are created using materials including timber, acrylic, hip styrene, and high density foam amongst others. The most popular scales range from 1:1000 to 1:50. Model components are created with a combination of CNC cutting, 3d printing and hand work. The parts are assembled by hand and some may be polished, sanded or spray painted.

visualisations

3d models are imported into, or created in 3d software  where lighting, materials and cameras are added. The final image is rendered and then post produced in photo editing software. Some images are all 3D and others are created by camera matching the 3D elements to photographs, rendering them and photomontaging them into the photography using photo editing software. VR 360 deg spherical images are created in 3D space, sometimes within a dome image taken with a 360 deg camera. these can then be hosted online to create virtual tours of linked images.

photography

Greg takes most of the photographs used in the visualization montages.

Photographs of the models are taken in studio controlled lighting and conditions. Model  images can be stunningly enhanced by the l.e.d. lighting built into some of them.

Greg has also photographed some completed projects for architects.
